Shining Some Light on Deep Learning in NLP
This book is a continuously updated collection of articles, essays and tutorials on various algorithms and techniques from the deep learning field surrounding NLP.
I started becoming interested in the subject in the Spring of this year while taking a seminar with Dr. Kristian Kersting at the TU Dortmund on topics related to Big Data, I pursued this interest reading various papers and taking Richard Sochers fantastic Stanford class CS224d: Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing, which comes highly recommended.
What motivates me to start this collection is the primary selfish concern to organize this disparate body of knowledge and establish connection where I can, be they logical progressions of researching building on previous results, or allegedly novel results that harken back to old and known ideas.
Aside from my own writings I will use this book as a central collection of educational resources and instructive and fun application of deep learning and NLP from the 'real world'.
I do very much welcome tips, hints and critical feedback of any kind... I have a thick skin.
